Salford BNP Touch of Death

Martin Vickers

It’s becoming a normal well known trend now that if you cross the British National Party in Salford your life is short lived in the council.

The latest victim is non-other than Martin Vickers, £134,000 director of customer services who reports directly to the labour mayor, you may remember Mr Vickers from an earlier report when a public meeting organised for the Weaste and Seedley by election was cancelled by him, in an illegal attempt to lock our candidate out of a democratic system, breaching section 95 to 98 of the people’s representation act. Fat cat Martin was also responsible for the dramatic overseeing of council cuts of around £80 Million pounds, whilst rewarding himself with a £30,000 pay rise over a three year span.

With 13yrs service under his belt for the council, and regarded as second in command to the chief executive, Martin leaves after news arrives of an early redundancy, A Council reliable source  has said Martin has been ‘advised to leave before facing the sack’ so it transpires Vickers has been pushed out rather than walking.

Salford British National Party spokesman said “I personally know Martin, and for around a month the branch has been in a bitter dispute with the council, over a bill for a considerable amount, for the advertisement of the public meeting which he cancelled in a strategic political move he made for Ian Stewart, The Labour mayor.

“We can only assume this has something to do with the sudden news of his departure. Salford British National Party are not in power, but we certainly pull the right strings within the council.

“This is not the first time council officers have crossed us, been found to be wrong and been told to up and leave, this one just happens to be added to the list.

“Salford British National Party of course doesn’t want people losing their job we expect the same treatment as the Labour Party, and we don’t think it’s a big ask”.
